I picked up a copy yesterday and it looks to have some good ideas on how better to get the most out of your writing sessions.

I would have ignored any book with that blurb. Sounds too much like a used car sales pitch.
I can easily blow through 2000 words in an hour. No big secret to it. I merely write the scenes mentally throughout the day, and then I just have to type it up when I get to the computer. I get a lot of "writing" done while exercising, driving, waiting on line, etc. What does that book suggest that is so special? |

Took a look at the sample. Early in the book is a link to claim a "free gift", a pdf report in exchange for your email address, outlining "marketing tactics". Clever tactic - put the link where people will click it even if they haven't bought the book. Sort of a back-up method of hooking people. This thing gives me the same vibe I get when the work phone rings and it's someone claiming to be a Google Ranking Specialist. |

That's what I thought, then I went and checked the preview (look inside) on amazon ... it's more 2:00am infomercial territory than used car sales pitches (and that may be an unfair characterization of infomercials).
