Table of Contents
I've been creating my eBook with CS5.5 InDesign. I export as an ePub. Then I use Calibre to fine tune everything. I add Metadata and do another ePub to ePub conversion in Calibre. I click default input format and iPad output format. I also click force use of auto-generated table of contents. And finally,Preserve Cover Aspect Ration in EPUB Output.
I preview everything on my iPad. Sometimes I have click Table of Contents when the book is being viewed and a nice table of contents shows up. Other times nothing shows up. I've been refining things so I have uploaded to my iTunes several times and sync'd to my iPad. I always delete the previous copy in iTunes and also delete the current book on my iPad before doing the sync. Why am I having this problem? I downloaded the most recent Calibre (0.8.13) this morning and since then I have not been able to get the TOC to work on the iPad. |
