Installing updates on Kindle International

So far I was able to make updates that K2i would recognize but then fail to install. Details here: http://blogkindle.com/2009/10/intern...t-impressions/

I'm trying to get around this right now. If anyone will find anything out - let me know.

Getting updates to install would enable Unicode Font Hack as well as other hacks on K2i.

Instead of Kindle International, I'm going to call it the iKindle.

Off Topic but what does the IK2 serial number start with? Is it B002 or B003 (if I recall the DX skipped to B004)?

Thanks! That explains the skip in numbers. The international version must have been on the drawing board at the same time as the domestic K2.
