It says West Virginia's portion would be $300K. In the other article, it says:
Quote:
If the settlement is approved, eligible Connecticut ebook buyers would receive up to $1.26 million in total compensation, for example, while Washington ebook buyers would receive up to $2 million, Maryland ebook buyers would receive up to $1.64 million and Hawaii ebook buyers would receive up to $300,000. In addition, the settling publishers would pay $7.5 million in court fees.
I wonder if there's another article indicating each states portion.

The publishers are getting off easy:

Quote:
If the settlement is approved by the U.S. District Court, the amount of reimbursement per book will range from 25 cents to $1.32.

Why am I surprised that the big winner is the legal system? $7.5 million in court fees?!
