Question Question about shop(s) (UK & US)

Hello,

I bought a marvellous Sony Reader last month and now I'm hooked, which worsen my already serious condition of book junkie.

I live in Italy, so I got the Reader from the UK, and the software that got with it was the UK one, that sends me to Waterstones. Now, I want to buy some titles that are available at the Sony Shop- I know I can buy cards from some very nice forum user, and that's not a problem, I also put the US version of the software to my netbook, and it does work, but, before doing anything, I'd like to know this: will my Reader (with UK firmware) be able to be authorised also for the books bought in the US Store?

I do realise it's a messy question

in advaaaance!

I've used both versions of the software, bought books from Waterstones and also downloaded free books from Sony's bookstore. I didn't have them both installed at the same time, but never had any problems. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

The books from Waterstones are epub not lrf, so you have to use Adobe Digital Editions to open them.

Thank you Ruth I just tried with some free book and wow, it works. I guess it's time to plan future acquisitions!
