The real answer is that the Karma system is a bit broken. But you can see how many times you've been given Karma (and who gave it) in your User Control Panel, see the "Latest Reputation Received" section.

Ha! Thats what I thought. doesent make much sense
EX. Sh*t poster with 100000K gives karma to bad post. bad poster gets 5k karma. meanwhile good poster gets 1k karma for a great post.
