Aufladen des Kindle?

Die ursprüngliche Akkuladung ist inzwischen ganz aufgebraucht, und nun ging's gestern Nacht ans erstmalige Aufladen des Kindle. Und damit habe ich ziemlich Schwierigkeiten.

Amazon legt ja ein USB-Netzteil bei, allerdings eines für US-Steckdosen. Also dachte ich, kein Problem, nehme ich halte das iPhone-Netzteil. Ganze Nacht aufgeladen - ohne Wirkung. Akku weiterhin leer. Durch Zufall im Amazon.com-Forum darauf gestoßen, dass man eben NICHT das iPhone-Netzteil nehmen soll, sondern sich einen herkömmlichen Stromadapter für sein US-Netzteil besorgen soll.
Den hatte ich nicht parat, also habe ich ein Netzteil-Kit von Artwizz mit verschiedenen Steckern für den internationalen Gebrauch des iPhones verwendet. Dasselbe Ergebnis: stundenlanges Aufladen, keine Wirkung.

Aktuell versuche ich es jetzt über USB am PC. Zumindest bei mir verträgt sich das iPhone-Netzteil offensichtlich nicht mit dem Kindle. SEHR nervig! Mein Cybook hat damit z.B. keine Schwierigkeiten.

Netzteil-Adapter sind halt gleich so klobig, und ständig am PC aufladen möchte ich den Kindle auch nicht, obwohl er wenigstens über ein sehr langes US-Kabel verfügt und man ihn daher irgendwo abseits gut verstauen kann, während er lädt.

Wie sind da eure Erfahrungen?

Ein Adapter kostet nur ein paar Cent.

Und wie lange hat das Laden über USB bei dir gedauert? Leuchtet wenigstes die Diode grün auf, wenn der Kindle fertig aufgeladen ist?

Klar, ein Adapter ist nicht teuer. Es nervt nur, dass es sich über handelsübliche USB-Netzteile nicht bewerkstelligen lässt.

Das ist ja gut zu wissen. Ich hatte im englischen Kindle-Forum hier irgendwo den Hinweis gelesen, es solle über USB länger dauern als über Steckdose. Scheint also schon mal nicht zu stimmen.

Ich hab mal gelesen, dass sich das iPhone (und jüngere iPod-Modelle) nicht über "normale" USB-Ladegeräte aufladen lassen, so dass die ein eigenes Äppel-Gerät brauchen. (Angeblich kurzgeschlossene Datenpins, oder sowas in der Art).

Vielleicht ist das auch der Grund, warum der Kindle das iPhone-Ladegerät nicht verträgt.
Versuch mal einer das mit einem "normalen" USB-Ladegerät (Artwizz o. ä.), das mit dem iPhone nicht klar kommt.(Also sprich ein älteres)

Wäre zwar seltsam, wenn das/der/die Kindle so empfindlich ist. Aber ich habe lange schon aufgehört, "unmöglich" zu sagen...

Device: K3,K4,PB360,PB360+,PB701-IQ und noch diverse andere Lesegeräte....
Ich benutze mehrere USB-Ladegeräte für meinen MDA-Pro.
Da gibt es einen ähnlichen Effekt:
Original-Netzteile:USB einstecken -> aufladen geht.
diverse (nicht alle) andere: USB einstecken -> aufladen geht NICHT.
Da muß ich USB einstecken, Gerät ausschalten, Gerät einschalten -> aufladen geht.
Und bei ganz leerem Akku tut sich mit diesen Ladegeräten garnichts.

Hängt wohl irgendwie mit dem logischen Zustand der Datenpins zusammen.

Das CE Zeichen hat der Stecker nicht verdient.
Aber zu diesem Preis darf man das auch nicht erwarten. Er sitzt sehr fest und funktioniert einwandfrei.
