PRS-T1 Sony "Collections" vs Calibre "Series"

I have a new T1 to replace my lost PRS300. I use Calibre, and have my books set up with "series". Sony readers use "collections", which seems to be useless unless I use the sony software to set up my books all over again. Is there a way to get the T1 to recognize the Calibre series in place of Sony's collections?

calibre's series are recognized as collections by the t1 (no need to pass through sony software)

To add to robyshot's answer, you can further customize this (or check the current settings) in the t1 device plugin config. Go into the preferences screen, click "Plugins" at the bottom in the advanced section, then in "Device Interface Plugins", double-click "Sony PRST1 and newer..." and change the options there to fit your needs.

Calibre will create collections based on the series for Sony readers.

As was mentioned, check your Plug In settings to make sure that it is set to make collections from series.

Also, turn on Metadate Management to Automatic on the Sending Books to Devices under Preferences. This will cause the metadata to be updated when you connect your reader and collections created.

You can also make collections based on author's name or tags or custom columns with your own method of organizing your books.
