Touch, Lose covers on power down
Since upgrading firmware to 3.3 on my Touch 905B I lose the cover when it powers down. It is present when sleeping, but I get the blank cover outline with the title in text when it powers off. This started when I upgraded to 3.3 and has continued on. I use Calibre to sideload almost all of my books (after removing DRM), but I think it even occurs with a Kobo downloaded book (with DRM still in force).
I recently upgraded to 3.8 (via instructions on the Firmware download thread) hoping it would solve this problem, but it remains. Do I have to potentially return to a pre 3.3 firmware to solve this problem, or is there something I can do to get the covers back when it powers down? I've done a search to see if there is any info on this problem in the forums but couldn't find anything (sorry if I missed it). |
