Exclamation Food for the thought

An estimated 11,300 laptop computers, 31,400 handheld computers and 200,000 mobile telephones were left in taxis around the world during the last six months.

Why do you people always post links?
If I want them to have a link I will provide one.
And most of the time the link you provide is not the source.

People are just trying to help out with polite correction to "make it right." It's not really appropriate to take a story and not provide a link to the original source. If there's no link, then at least name the source. Not only is it important to credit the source so you are not stealing it, but people like to see the source so they can get some context and more details.
And even if a source is given, you'll find people will often try to give additional sources of the info because it's nice to see other news about the story also.

Actually, we're very fortunate at MobileRead because of all the helpful and polite people here that do things like that in a nice way. You should see how mean people can be at a lot of other sites!
