Exclude some parts from build

Now I'm trying to build Calibre on CentOS 5.3. Dependency hell, you know
Is it possible to disable building of some parts that I do not need?
For example support for PDF (poppler, podofo?), CHM (libchm ?), webserver, and entire GUI - I only need a console converter

No. Also note that the console commands are required to be run in an X server. They are invoked via the console but they are not able to be run properly in a headless environment.
