What novel would you request in prison?
Of course, prison life is hard. I was just reading this article and this got my attention:

The Count of Monte Cristo
1) It is a very, very long book so takes a while to read 2) I could read it again and again 3) The theme of the Count being imprisoned but finally getting free would be inspirational and hopeful |

Anything by Dan Brown. I would then in fury and rage be able to dig my way out with my hands alone.

For me, I'd take Bertrand Russell's 'History of Western Philosophy'. No clever reason, it's just a really good read. |

I have Russel's 'History of Western Philosophy' and I've never read it. So much good stuff, and so little time. I'm not complaining though, a lot of the good stuff is free I'd probably take Kafka's 'the Castle' or John Steinbeck's 'Tortilla Flat' with me, on a more serious note. Both excellent re-reads. |

Looks like he needs to run in place, for such a small space and ti complain about being allowed out of the cell. WAWA he should have thought about that be fore he did the crime. I am not compasioate for criminal I feel they have give up their rights by doing their chosen fupa. Its bad enought the rest of us have to pay to house them.
my books for him would be the Bible. |
