E-Ink Watch
Very intriguing e-ink watch article. Perhaps this is the future of e-ink. To be in places where flexibility and extended battery lift is needed more than the versatility of all in one devices.

I think e-ink has a very bright future. It could replace LCD watches. And those TVs that they use in malls for static displays? E-ink would be ideal.

I love the idea, but the design... I'm not sure at all. Makes me thing of the Nike Fuel wristleband:

The future has been in Japan for a couple of years. I don't know how popular they are but you can go in and buy one at any electronics shop. High quality Seiko. Radio controlled time.

Glad to hear that there at least one or two industries where Japanese companies have not dropped the ball...

With a Phone!
(but not cellular data plan, save the expensive stuff for the hotspots, the data users like notebooks, tablets, etc.) Last edited by SeaKing; 01-11-2013 at 09:56 PM. |
