How do you take a bookmark off the 505 when you no longer need it?

Go to the page with the bookmark and bookmark the page again. It will then remove the bookmark.

Also, in the menu you can see what bookmarks you have. Select the one you want to remove and it'll take you right to that page.

Thanks a lot for the info. I would be so sweet if Sony would have a quick reference manual. I just received my 505 last week. I love the reader but hate the reference manual being on the cd and a folded piece of paper.

Download the manual from the Sony site and print it out. But it won't help you much because it is just awful.

It would have been nice if they'd included the manual as a .lrf file instead of a .pdf
You can put the .pdf on the Reader just like any other file, but in my opinion it does not work very well for reference purposes.

Thanks for all your help. I may as well just read from the site rather than waste paper.
