2nd Hand iRex Iliad or Kindle 3

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and the ereaders so please be gentle

I'm looking for new gadget for myself, an e-book reader (surprise, suprise)

Basically I got the choice to 2, maybe three options.

I can get 2nd hand iRex iLiad, very little usage, cheap (around the same price as K3 wifi) or Kindle 3.

I know basic differences, but I would like to hear from someone who dealt with both devices.
Most of my documents are in PDF format (technical documentation, service manuals etc). I also like to get some extra expandality from the device (almost everything in my house is some kind of modded or hacked, even the light swich ).

I would appreciate any comments, pros and cons etc.

Cheers!

The K3 is not the best device for PDF's. From what I have read, the Sony is one of the better PDF options because it has automatic reflow.

I decided to go with the iLiad, I hope I won't regret it. The price was good.

This is going to be my first reader, in worst case scenario I will upgrade it in half a year time :P
