Shell access package

I've just used the URL to request the shell access package from iDS.

Before I install it, can I just clarify something. I won't see anything new "visually" when I install this, will I? Am I right in thinking that it just resets the user permissions to give me "root" access so I can install new applications?

No, you won't see anything visually change. It just changes an internal configuration file that adds .sh as a known file type.

No, you were root all the time.
No, it installs the shell as a new app for Contentlister [er_registry.txt].
