Kidle 4 NT skin or a cover?
Which one should I buy, a skin such as
http://www.amazon.com/ArmorSuit-Mili...l_mb_hu_c_4_dp or a normal cover? The benefit with the skin is that it does not add much weight to the device. However, it does not protect against a fall / drop. |

I'd go with a cover, especially since scratching isn't really a problem with e-ink screens; braking is.
And depending on where and when you read a cover with light might be worth the investment too. |

I'm a fan of covers for the added protection.

I have two SkinDigital covers, one for the Kobo and one for the Nook
They are real leather, feel nice to use and look cute, highly recommended ! http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rc...MYrqvQ&cad=rja |

I have the Marware SportGrip Kindle Cover in black. It's well made and has a nice grippy feel to it. My Kindle mostly stays home, so it provides ample protection. When I'm done reading, I place it on a bookshelf, screen side down. There's enough of a lip surrounding the bezel, so the screen doesn't come in contact with the shelf.

I like the look and feel of the Decalgirl glossy skins though they don't provide protection.
I bought several covers for protection but I ended up not using them. I just prefer not having the additional weight. I just keep a quilted potholder in my bag and the kindle slips into it quite nicely. |
