Hi,

I am a new member. Currently, I live in North Carolina.

I do not currently have an ebook reader, but am trying to save some money up for one to make my train commute easier. The Kindle is my favorite at this point.

I read incessantly and will read almost anything, although SciFi, Fantasy and Mystery are my favorites. Right now, I am reading Knit Two by Kate Jacobs and have to pick up The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong from the library later today.

I saw your username and figured you must be in NC

Hello and welcome! How are the Kate Jacobs books? I'm a knitter and was thinking about reading the knitting club book.

A couple people here are saving up for Kindles too. There's a couple ways you can earn or get gift certificates to help you.

Kate Jacobs's books are really good. I liked the first one, Friday Night Knitting Club, the best.

She really does a great job building up her characters and making you care about them. It was for this reason that I continued on with the series.

I highly recommend her books.

Tarheel is a nickname for North Carolinians, but it also used in reference to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's athletics teams and students. Since I am a proud alumna, I adopted the name as part of my userID.

I like the sounds of that! The libraries around here are very big into ebooks, so I am looking forward to trying them out on a Kindle.

Thank you for the welcome!

See... we all learn from each other I thought it had something to do with trying to walk on the street during high summer in Las Vegas
