Is there any way to add a metadata source?

I've found http://www.goodreads.com to be a good source for metadata but don't see any way to add it as a source. Can anyone provide enlightenment?

Take a gander at the Plugins subforum - you will find metadata sources for Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, Fantastic Fiction and other websites. I suggest you read the introduction to plugins sticky thread up the top first, install the "Plugin Updater" plugin, and then use that to download whatever other metadata source(s) you want.

Note that some of those metadata source plugins have additional things you can configure - for instance the Goodreads one you can create mappings between Goodreads genres and tags you would like to appear. Refer to each plugin's thread for more information.

Thanks, Kiwidude. Just what I was looking for. Is there a way to prioritize the metadata lookups or is that a dumb question?

Preferences -> Sharing -> Metadata download will let you give relative weights to the covers downloaded from different sources.
