Gtrs, I had it for the first time at a friend's home Christmas Day. She made a cold salad with it, and it was delicious! However, I couldn't say how much of the taste was the quinoa.
I asked her what was so special about quinoa. She said that it is a whole protein. She said that beans and rice together make up a whole protein, but quinoa does it by itself. |
