No luck. I think my Kobo is actually breaking my SD cards. They all work the first time I pop them in but any time I add books, etc it stops detecting th card permanently although I have tried reformatting the cards a number of times.

What did you use to reformat your card? The reformatting tool that comes with Windows doesn't wipe everything.

This may have been long resolved, but...
I just purchased a Kobo Touch yesterday. Today I went to swap books from the SC card of my dead reader to a micro SD for the touch. It wouldn't detect. I had named it KOBO_MSD so I knew what it was when I popped the card in on the computer. I renamed it to KOBO (removed the underscore and MSD) and it picked up immediately. It may be that the name assigned to the microSD card contains a character that the Kobo doesn't like, so it skips it. At least, that resolved the issue for me. |
