Decisions decisions...looking for a reader with animation

I was looking at Que's upcoming proreader, the 10" model looks quite good, although pricey, anyone know how it is compared to Sony's?

I saw one recently on Youtube, can't remember which one it was but it was capable of animation, anyone know what that one is, or if all of the readers can do it.

And... anyone know of a make-your-reader-kit other than the $3k one?

Currently, there are no readers capable of animation that are available for sale.

There was a "joke" animation one on you tube a while back...

eInk screens have a refresh rate which is a significant fraction of a second, and are thus unsuited for animations. You'd need to look at LCD devices if this is a requirement.
