Directly, no. Indirectly, you can convert it to another format. Something like PDF works well if you need to keep the formatting and layout. Something like RTF works well if you want to keep most of the formatting. You can save as RTF in all versions of Word. You can save to PDF in recent versions of Word.

If you're on a Mac, Apple's Pages word processor can open Word files and export documents to .epub files for eReaders.

So there is no way to install some app that can read word format ?

I found somewhere here a thread about porting Kindle paperwhtie for Kobo Glo any one tested this ?

If you've got the document on your computer, save it as .rtf before loading it on your eReader. RTF documents will work fine on your kobo. PDF is less desirable, because ereader screens are too small to work well for fixed format documents intended for larger screens.
