Welcome to MobileRead, Dela*
There are tons of well formatted free public domain books here for you to enjoy with or without a device.........Good luck on your choice. Me, I wouldn't have anything else but my K. Others feel the same way about their devices. |

Hi delia*, welcome to MR!
I loved my K1 and I really love my K3, but I've never had any other kinds of readers to give you any comparison. If you don't get satisfactory advice here in "Introduce Yourself", you might try another post in "Which One Should I Buy". |

Welcome to mobileread .... I appreciate the convenience I get from using my Gen3 and Pocketbook. You are right, though, the choice is becoming a little overwhelming ! |

Before recommending a reader, it would help to know your reading habits. Do you generally read a book through from beginning to end before going on to the next one, or do you tend to shuffle between books as you read? Is the ability to copy portions of text for use in your PC's word processor important to you? Do you frequently underline and take extensive notes on what you read? Is it important to you to have a wireless connection? Last edited by WT Sharpe; 09-13-2010 at 06:59 PM. |

Welcome. Good luck with your decision. I always take at least 4 paperbacks on vacation and usually only get through one, but I have to carry all those books. I just got my first Kindle today. Yay! Now that's all I have to take on vacation.
