iBook fuzzy page on turning

I have noticed when you turn a page of a PDF it takes a moment for the next page to become readable, it's fuzzy first and than clear, it happens with PDF only and in any orientation, I have tried same PDF in goodreader but no problem there, has anybody noticed it? It becomes annoying after a while.

it's apple's PDF rendering engine. that's the way it works. so you'll see that behavior in safari, ibooks, anything that uses the built-in rendering engine. good reader uses their own engine.

Ok it's just not me, this rendering engine is bothersome for sure, it does not happen in windows, I don't have much Mac os experience.

it's not the mac. it's the ipad. the fast preview is blurry, then it renders it properly for whatever zoom level you have set. it doesn't do any pre-rendering or it would look fine immediately. goodreader does background processing that pre-renders pages.

Goodreade ris very good for viewing PDF on an iPad. It even allows you to crop the margins for a nice zoom.
