Ich war versucht (so muss man's wohl nennen), Felix Dahns Bearbeitung der Völkerwanderungsgeschichte als ebook aufzubereiten. Das macht wirklich keinen Spaß mehr, Bücher, die man früher in 5 Stunden fertig hatte, dauern jetzt mehr als eine ganze Woche.

An die Fußnoten komme ich nur heran, wenn ich Gutenberg mit Safari lade. Dort kann man auf der Fußnote im Kontextmenü "Verknüpfte Datei laden" wählen, dann wird das Kapitel gespeichert. Vom Speicherort aus öffnen (mache ich jetzt mit Firefox) dann hat man wieder den gesamte Text des Kapitels vor sich, man muß also die Fußnote erst wieder suchen. Jetzt erscheint sie immerhin als kopierbarer Text.

Die Brüder Karamasow mache ich noch zu Ende, beim nächsten Buch mit vielen Fußnoten fange ich gar nicht erst an.

Arbeitet Ihr mit der "normalen" Gutenberg-Version? Eventuell könnte es einfacher sein, sich die Druckversion vorzunehmen. Da stehen die Fußnoten direkt an der Stelle, wo normalerweise die hochgestellte Zahl erscheint, und können auch kopiert werden. Allerdings sind sie als Fußnoten dort schwer zu erkennen, man bräuchte also immer auch die "normale" Version zum Nachschauen.

Man kann getrost sagen: in der Druckversion sind die Fußnoten nicht zu erkennen, es sei denn, man weiß vorher, wo sie sind.
"Pflückt" man den Text aber aus der Webansicht und kopiert ihn in dieser Form nach OpenOfficeWriter, so erscheinen die "Fußnoten" dort als Link, also blau/unterstrichen; so kann man sie gut erkennen, muss sie dann natürlich noch in echte Fußnoten umwandeln.
Aber ich fürchte, das gehört eigentlich alles gar nicht hierher (Admin, ick hör dir trappsen...)!

Jemand ahnt, wohin eine Sache führt. Es wird vermutet, dass diese Redensart auf das Lied „Frau Nachtigall“ aus „Des Knaben Wunderhorn“ zurückgeht. Und zwar parodiert sie im Berliner Volksmund die Anfangszeilen der ersten und zweiten Strophe: „Nachtigall, ich hör dich singen“ und „Nachtigall, ich seh dich laufen“.

Wer von euch in den letzten Tagen, um an seinem ebook weiter zu arbeiten, gutenberg.de zu erreichen versuchte, erhielt folgende Mitteilung:

Das stimmt jedenfalls bei dieser Schwarte nicht. Man erkennt wohl den Beginn der Fußnote [in blau: *)], aber nicht so recht das Ende, muss hier also doch immer wieder in der Webansicht nachschauen. Wenn bei der Eingabe die Unterstreichung nicht vorgenommen wurde, steht sie eben auch hier nicht hilfreich zur Seite.

Ich sage euch: der Schmöker hat geschlagene 585 Fußnoten!

Ich bin jetzt bei Seite 50 von 743 (in DIN-A4 gerechnet!)!

Haltet bitte Wadenwickel und Riechfläschchen bereit!
