Ditto! (But not PhD for me ... Sigh). Now they use Endnote. Just plug the reference info into the boxes and it does the formatting.

YEah but try getting figures properly alligned with the figure heading at the right spot. And then the margins are totally different so that throws everything off. I got lucky, my Graduate School office had a template that we could use that took care of most of the formatting. It still took me a week and many trips to the office to get everything right.
