well. what else do you recommend for the iphone? ibooks isn't out yet. to be honest, i really don't give a lot of care to rendering of fonts. as long as i can read the letters on the page and move from one word to the next, i'm happy. i know you all have your preferences about "perfect rendering" but really, are you ever going to find one reader app that is going to render every book you own "perfectly"? how much time do you spend gazing at the beautify of a layout vs. just reading the page and moving on to the next?
back in the 70's we had one option. green text on a black screen. and we read it. and we liked it. we were lucky if we had overstrike. and underline. we didn't have italics. we had a single font. monospace. and the rivers were wide. and we liked that too.
