You all realise she's had it for over an hour already, right? (80 minutes in fact, if her friend told her true that he would be there at 6)

This one's a no-brainer. It should be called Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen or "The Red Baron" for short

Maybe it should be called "Biggles".

I voted "the red one next to the ebookwise".
Notice that there is no reference to a Sony 700? The red one next to the ebookwise, but definitely not next to the Sony 700, which she may or may not have. |

Ahem--
There are only two valid choices. "Rhubarb" makes the most sense. Really it does. Ruminate upon it and you will understand why. For the 'purists,' there is all ways the traditional naming of a new, shiny, beloved device. "George." Seriously. The fact that the latter is not one of the cromulent options in the poll really makes me wonder what you people do around here when I am gone. Suppose that the self-evident answer is Formulate Silly Polls. |

'Course, give him a nice, tall lemonade with crescent of lime and an umbrella in the top, and there's no telling what he'll do (true "dancing-around-lampshade-on-his-head" type madness!) G'day, Cthulhu. It's blood-curdlingly soul-freezing to see you again. Can I get you a drink? Cheers, Marc |

Hey, it's Cthulhulululuu! Welcome back, little squid-like dude. You been off playing with the puddle ducks?
Yes, I agree that Rhubarb would be a good choice, although it is best if you combine it with another fruit like strawberry (in pie, at least). George? You've lost it, I'm afraid, squid-like man. Total nonsequitur. Unless, of course, that was your point. |

And it would make more sense, using that example, to call it custard. |

It should be called Link
Even if the device is red (and not green), Link is a perfect name for the Zelda's companion. The direct reference aside, the word link has a so appropriate meaning.

How can it not be Scarlett ???
I haven't read the whole thread, so someone may already have suggested this - but frankly, my dear . . . |
