Keeping images on the same page as headers
Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if there is a way to keep headers on the same page as images (that are placed directly below)? I've tried 'page-break-after:avoid' after the headers, but no joy! I'm wanting this to work with the Kindle Fire, as well as other readers. All help would be much appreciated! Thanks x |

I don't know of any way to do this, given that even a horizontal image might be pushed onto the next "page" if the reader is holding his gadget sideways.
You could always write a text paragraph/caption, to take the curse off the orphaned heading. (Or, of course, you could get rid of the heading altogether....) Or you could work in fixed format! |

Put the text and the bitmap image into an SVG "image". You'll have to provide fallback data for devices that don't support SVG, of course, and on those devices, all bets are off.
