Help needed correcting a misprint. Any ornithologists around?
I'm proofreading a book by Scottish writer William Sharp, one he wrote under his pen-name Fiona Macleod.
There's a passage about birds, and it has a yellowyite, which I am pretty sure must be an error. My first idea was that it should read yellowkite, but there only seems to be a Yellow-billed kite, which lives in southern Africa and so wouldn't have been preached at by Columcille, I guess. So, any ideas anybody? |

According to this site Yellow Yite is another name for Yellowhammer.
