transliteration in file&directory names

Hello!
I am Vadim. My Windows XP SP3 default language is russian. I have a problem after add any books into my Calibre`s library: the original file name is in transliteration mode, meta information Autor`s and Title - in cyrillic mode, but names of directory and file in library are in transliteration mode (with distinct from original file name). For this case i dont find any uncheck box like "Convert non-English characters to English equivalents" in Add/Save preferences.
Please, help me
Thanks

Yeah transliteration is enforced for file names. This is because it is impossible to write unicode aware code that works robustly on all the various operating system/filesystem combinations out there.

Is there a way to modify the transliteration rules? I am from Bulgaria and the current transliteration of my cyrillic names is not correct, i.e. it translates the cyrillic letter "е" into "ie" (should be "e") and the letter "я" into "ia" (should be "ya"). I haven't checked them all.
Thank you
Best regards

You can edit the source code of calibre to change the transliteration rules. Other than that, there is no way.
