PRS-650 Collection folder question

I created a special collection folder called Summer Reading for obvious reasons. I have chosen 5 of my unread books for this folder where they can be seen.
However, these same books appear in my main listing of books when my eReader starts.
Is there a way that I can make these books appear only when I access my summer reading folder?

Thanks,

I don't know the answer, but I'm curious as to why that would be required?

It isn't necessary, but I have downloadeed library books and some purchased books to read. I have set aside some of the latter which are ideal for beach reading (my fav. authors, etc)

OK - thanks. Hopefully somebody more knowledgable will be along with a proper answer shortly

Oh, if you're on the beach, I hope you have some protection for your Sony?

Bilbo,

I have some books that I added to get them onto the device, but would prefer others ahead of them on the main screen. The posted tool is a good idea, but I transfer books too often to make it fully useful.

Daqddyo1,

I think what you might prefer is a Calibre tag of "Summer Reading" for those books, deleting them from your device now, and transferring them later in the year when you're ready to start the first of them. Calibre tags are read as Collections by the device upon transfer.

Bilbo,
I plan to keep mine in a ziplock bag to keep the salt spray and sand out of the electronics. The bag will stop scratches on the screen caused by the sand as well.
I have noticed that the touch action is gone but I can always push the buttons to flip pages. I'll have to open the bag for other functions though.

Nope, besides creating "all other books' collection.
