Convert PDFs into readable EPUBs

This method ONLY allows for left-to-right reading and bookmarking. Most other functions are not available. It basically uses the CBR-to-EPUB conversion process, with some tweaks thrown in so that most any PDF can be converted.

You will need:

Adobe Acrobat (or some other PDF editor)
WinRAR (or a similar program)
Calibre

Flash-based walk-through: Convert PDFs into readable EPUBs

You lost me somewhere down the road... basically you seem to be making an Epub with one image per PDF page. Why not stick with PDF in the first place then? There's a good chance the PDF will actually be smaller than the Epub, and zero benefit in having Pdf-as-Image-Epub...

The EPUB is smaller than the PDF, can be read from left-to-right, and can be bookmarked. It's not a perfect process, and may or may not suit your specific needs. My point: it works.
