Sort by recent first not working

I have sort by recent first but the books I recently read aren't put first but after the oldest loaded book that has not been read. So basically I have to scroll to the end to read the book I just read. That's like 7 pages. Good thing I don't have 1000 books.

Any one knows what the problem is? Thanks

Check that the clock is set correctly.

I think I read that the time might be out of sync and to sync using wifi or other connection.

The time was correct, but doing a sync fixed it. Thanks!
