Have you tried installing any app from the Amazon market place? I can try installing that to verify

Oh, good news - I cleared data on Amazon market, signed in again, and was successful in installing Adobe Reader!!

Oops never mind, it crashed.

wow! the speed upgrade to my applications is nothing short of amazing!
ACV and slide it are flying! can't wait to try the reader out tomorrow.

Are you in Europe perhaps? Amazon Market Place does not work in our region jet.

I am having major problems upgrading to Ermine, it downloads and goes through the upgrade process, reboots and hey presto.. nothing.... back to Dingo!!!!!

If at first you do not succeed try try try and try again! After attempt no 6 it finally took. Looks great and now the reader in Landscape thanks Entourage!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Updated to the Ermine beta and have had no major issues. My Pocket Edge seems snappier in opening and switching apps. Display seems sharper, icons cleaner. I've accessed the Amazon market and downloaded and installed several apps (no games, sorry, just productivity/business oriented) and all installed and work well. Hope this input helps.

Personally, I'm glad Entourage made this last (?) effort for the users. Unless there is a major problem lurking, I'd be happy to go forward with this beta and live with the minor issues in exchange for the added (at least I percieve as added) functionality.

i'm experiencing a lot of browse r crashing.
to those seeing stable browsing, what browse (and version) are y you using? a link would be appreciated a s well..

My edge just went bizarre. It would shut down. Battery indicator suddenly went to zero.does anyone else's edge get really hot on right side.? I dumped the battey AP and clinging... now my Amazon store AP is freaking. I had to pull the battery to get the machine to power off. Sigh. Battery issue did happen before update but recovery issue is ermine

I am not having the browser problems but I am questioning if I am running Ermine. My dashboard indicates that I am but under the Edge setting on my PE, it shows Dingo. Should this be expected since the Ermine is a beta version?

Settings - About eDGe - Build number should show "ERMINE-0.9".

Repeat the update process until it works (it make take multiple times for the unlucky few). You'll know you have Ermine when you have a big green unlock button on the LCD side when it reboots.

I really hate feeling stupid but....when I go back to the main page it tells me that I'm participating in the beta. I have followed several of the links to get to the download including powering down and logging off. Where can I find the download?

Hi, open the applications up and go down to the "update" app. It should start the process for you.
