Official Response from Craig to my inquiry about the LCD Defective Panel & OS 2.2
Subject: Craig CMP738A EPAD
Importance: High Upgrade from OS 2.1 to OS 2.2 Craig is currently working on attaching a link on their website that would allow current 2.1 customers to upgrade their firmware to the 2.2 version. No official date has been set yet but there will be no need to return the original tablets. Defective LCD Panel with Text Issue (under Terminal Mode) The specific unit that has the text issue seems to have a hardware issue, you may want to have that one exchanged if you or still under the 90 day limited warranty. Above came from 3 head sources at Craig Electronics Corp in Miami, Florida about my inquiry last night to Android OS 2.2 and the LCD Defective Panel. So if you have this issue with the panel you best return it back to CVS for exchange. Just do a factory reset and that will put the tablet in a state of TS setup mode for those of you who have Rooted the tablet with 3rd-party ROM. CVS will just give you exchange or return your money and if you use a CVS coupon then you get back 20% or 25% in a CVS Gift Card as Bonus thus you can buy another one at a cheaper price. Well the above images were sent over to CVS Corp and Craig Corp they wanted to see what I was seeing on the CMP738A. The last image shown above is new but I never notice that the menu graphic had shifted all the way to the right and got cut off. |
