Where can one find ebooks in pdf format? Want to read on my Archos 5.

Apart from ordinary PDF, Adobe also does a DRM-protected PDF-based e-book that requires their special e-book reader software to read. The Neverwhere giveaway is in that format.

If you mean DRM versus DRM-free, then Fictionwise and BoB sell DRM'd books.
