I'm finding it's ok if I have plenty of time to kill. When I want to get something done fast, I just boot up the Win7 desktop so I can access my programs with one click rather than 3 or 4.

You are joking, right? Why not just go to the Windows 8 desktop, and place your shortcuts there? That is what I do on my laptop -- and except much faster response times, better search, and easier access to settings and other functionality there is no difference in the way I work.

Hans, I suspect a lot of the complainers have not actually used Win8. They install the free download, spend a couple hours poking around and go back to their comfort zone. To be fair, I did that with Unity.

Remember the Mojave campaign?

Unfortunately, the Mohave sample is probably a typical sample of modern computer users.
