Format heading possible

Is it possible to add a format heading to the calibre columns?
I have let a few books ( maybe hundreds) escape and now I have over 25k in there, it is hard to re-find them them to do a reformat . I was wondering if it is possible to add a column like tags or collection, so I can find those not in Epub more easily but it would need to find them automatically for me not have me input it...does that make sense to you?

in the search bar

Or click twice (second time inverts the search) on "EPUB" in the tag browser, under formats.

The tag browser is an excellent way to do quick searches on various metadata fields in calibre.

That worked well , I had 144 completely unformatted books in there. I still do not understand quite how I get some books without any formatting at all but have now set Calibre to format on import so it tells me if there are any it cannot complete.

Thank you Kovid for a great system.I do love my Calibre.
