I'm listening to mainstream music, usually, because they are the usual ones I get to sing along to in the car, but I'm so glad to see some people, if not most, loving classical music. I find them so soothing.
I'm currently into Poison and Wine by the Civil Wars. The lyrics and the whole arrangement of it is just so mesmerizing. "You only know what I want you to. I know everything you don't want me to." |

I have never cared for country music. Rather I should say I have never cared for contemporary country. I've always liked old stuff like Hank Williams or Johnny Cash. Like this song I just heard on Pandora.

I'm a fan of older country music too, although I tend to go more for the smoother, more pop-like sound of the following:
"Somebody Like Me" by Eddy Arnold
As far as what I've recently listened to: "Baby Come Back" by The Equals "The Angels Cry" by Annie Haslam |

Leny Andrade was just singing "História de um Valente" on Calm Radio's "Bossa Nova" station. Every couple of measures there's a sound like that of our phone ringing. I checked our phone two or three times before it dawned on me what was happening.

Burned several CDs of old favorites for my round trip to New England. This was one of them -- Horizon, by Eri Sugai, from her album Mai.
