It turns iPad into typewriter. Hulk happy. No smash.
Lovely. Typos in a screenshot are a bit more difficult to correct before everyone sees them, but this really is a neat app. |

I soon found out that if you wanted to save documents, you needed to upgrade. Not so neat, but still worth the four something that the upgrade costs. Tricky, though.

It works beautifully with my ClamCase Pro. I have been clacking away and love it.

I read about this on CNET and downloaded it. It really is fun to type in the old ways. Brings back many memories. I might even have to get the upgrade for the other typewriters.

Oh gosh, I want that Bluetooth typewriter.
We have an electronic typewriter manufactured by Brother that my dad uses to type on things. I used to play with one at my friend's parents work too back in the 90's. |

Here's a video of the FRIDEN Electro-Mechanical Calculator we used back in 1970 at a large U.S. corporation. Begin watching at 5:30 minutes into the video to hear the racket caused by multiplication. We had to make sure a co-worker at a nearby desk wasn't on the telephone! Video |

Ha! Every Hollywood movie in the 70s must have used that sound to represent computers at work.
