PRS-300: No text on left and right side

This is a little bit strange: Some of the EPubs I bought are not displayed correctly on the PRS-300. The text is only displayed at the center of the screen. The left and right side of the display are unused. There are no words missing or anything, it's just, that each line is like four words long with the smallest text size. This quickly becomes very annoying while reading. Other books are displayed correctly. What could the problem be?

Thanks for helping!

Too wide a margin setting in the book. Not terribly uncommon, unfortunately.

Is that something that can be corrected with calibre or other programms?

If the file does not have DRM, then yes, you can reset the margins in Calibre.

You need to do an epub to epub conversion.

If the book does have DRM then you will need to remove the DRM first before editing.
