Just being a country boy who is short on words, I'm wondering what the antonym of Callimammapygous would be. Also why such a word is a Latin sandwich using Greek bread.

Pet theory (not theory concerning pets) is that left handed men (my very limited experience) tend to be better with words than right handed men. In addition left handed men seem to be more artistically talented (statistically) than right handed men (again in my very limited experience). Just wanted some more input data. Seems like my theory is refuted.

Taylor seems to be exceedingly good with words and art, hence the question.

ah yes, the old left brain vs. right brain dichotomy. thanks for explaining. you're not the only one who wonders about that ; i don't think it's to be completely discounted, but i also don't think it can exclusively explain different talents.

I am, literally, brain damaged. I worked assiduously to rewire my brain after the injury to rehabilitate and develop language skills, motor skills, musical skills, etc. I think I would have to be thrown out of any study - I'm not a valid sample. And while observers tell me "you learned guitar very, very fast, you must have a natural talent", in a way that belittles the amount of effort I put into it. It sure didn't feel like it "came naturally", it feels like I worked really, really hard. Same with drawing, and writing poetry. So, if I have a "natural ability", it might be the ability to concentrate, to focus completely, on whatever it is I'm trying to do.

With a screen name the same as a great guitar it makes me wonder what came first.
