New upgrade today?
My Kindle keyboard rebooted today and since the news PW shipped today I thought we might get a firmware upgrade, but I off course have no clue as to what my firmware edition is.

Press Home \ Menu \ Settings. At the bottom of the screen it should show you have version 3.4. If not, go here to upgrade it:

Not terribly likely. In fact, totally unlikely IMO.

There is pretty much no connection between the PW and the K3, and pushing out updates for two independent products at the same time would only mean to ask for more trouble.

I checked and I'm running 3.4, I just didn't know what I was running or rather didn't remember, but I guess it was just a spontaneous reboot.

I have a k2i and noticed I was running an older firmware. I tried to update but something is wrong. It says, "update not successful."

Any suggestions?

Yes. My kindle 2i shows that I am currently running 2.5.2 and I suppose that the 2.5.8 download really shouldn't have much improvements but...I like to be up to date.
