Hmm - looking at that app it runs on the Android end - not the PC where Calibre is running. As such I am not sure that is any different to any other ebook app that can connect to the Calibre Content server. However the name could easily cause confusion with the main Calibre application I guess.

You're probably right. Since all the functionality I've made use of has been free, it just didn't occur to me that other people might be making "pay" apps to work with Calibre (on any platform).

At least this one doesn't seem to be a total scam like the last one that tried to sell PD books using the calibre name.

I don't actually mind that app using the calibre name, it is after all an app that interfaces with the calibre content server. So having calibre in its name is natural.
