Error handling 'GetExternalBookRequest'

Hello!

Recently both my partner and my Kobo Clara HD and Kobo Libra 2 started only seeing "Please wait..." when we tap on the Overdrive menu. We each have our own library card, Kobo account, and Overdrive account.

I installed NickleMenu in a effort to dig further into what's going on with our devices and found the following logs. Has anyone ever seen this before? It seems like there is a mismatch of Overdrive book IDs and Kobo's API.

We've tried:
- Factory reset
- Log out then back in of Overdrive with: Overdrive account
- Log out then back in of Overdrive with: library card
- Log out then back in of Overdrive with: Phone number
- Log out then back in of Kobo account
- Update Kobo account with address

Given the nature of the error code, I'm not sure how to proceed as I've removed all my loans on my account so my guess is that these book IDs (od_4766386,od_5575192,od_5153492,od_5560817,od_67 99143) are what's retrieved from Overdrive and then Kobo is trying to get more metadata from their own API but the device is generating a bad request against their server.

Any suggestions is much appreciated.

Looking at the book IDs of the first request, specifically od_5275037

I can see that it is the current book on the front page of Overdrive for my library. https://sdcl.overdrive.com/media/5275037 Which provides some validation why both our readers are suddenly acting up as we're pointing to the same library.

I believe I will have to wait for either Rakuten or Overdrive to resolve their back-end. Will update further if we have anything noteworthy.
