Need a power adapter for Pocket eDGe
I bought a new Pocket eDGe last month, and the power adapter stopped working less than two weeks later. The seller doesn't have a replacement and suggested I contact the manufacturer. Is there any hope of that?

Simple answer, no.
Long answer, check the old edge forum archive - there were several threads about just what you are looking for and where to buy them in the US. |

Home-brew instructions are here:
and the reason that drove him to that, besides cost: "It seems the trick to finding the exact one-voltage supply for an eDGe is that the connector is VERY small for 12 volts at 1 amp." That said, if you knew what to call the tip (3 millimeters, micro-doohickey, whatever) and the polarity (is the tip positive or negative?) you could probably find something exactly suitable, new or used, online. -- Ed |

In a previous thread on Entourageedge, I identified an exact part# (with help!) on MCM Electronics' site, but there is apparently no industry-standard way of describing that tip when it comes to fully manufactured power supplies.
Go to an electronics/convenience type store. Take your eDGe with you. Ask for a 12 volt DC power supply and make sure it adapts to the power receptacle in the unit. |

Another alternative (in case you didn't see this) is to purchase the Energizer XP8000 xpal charger system - you need tip NB05. See this thread:
