Musicophilia, and BooksOnBoard.com

This book, by Oliver Sacks, has been on my radar since it was first published, but I had quite forgotten about it until I saw it in a Chicago bookstore this week. I haven't started to read it yet, so my recommendation to do so is solely based on my thorough enjoyment of everything Mr. Sacks has written. His memoir "Uncle Tungsten" is particularly notable in that regard.

I also lavish public praise upon BooksOnBoard.com, who are always timely in their responses to questions via email. I asked them to match Sony's price on Musicophilia, since I always prefer Mobi over LRX for reasons often discussed on this board. They immediately adjusted their price and sent me a note informing me of this. Needless to say they got the sale, and I would encourage anyone who would like to read this book to purchase it from them.

NOTE: the e-book format I have, from BooksOnBoard, in Mobipocket, retains the printed layout with blank facing pages on new chapters. This introduces an annoying "turn the page to see a blank page" facet to reading the book. It isn't the fault of the author, but does detract a bit from the pleasure of reading.
