Option to only show filenames in browser?
Hi,
One thing that bugs me about the browser in the DR1000 is that it reads the metadata when you open a file and afterwards shows the title and author instead of the filename. I have the filenames quite neatly ordered, but since I get my documents from all over the net, there's no order whatsoever in the metadata and often it's not even possible to guess which book/document it represents. Does anyone know a solution to this? Perhaps there's a hidden setting somewhere that turns of metadata reading? Ideally I would like it to still read the thumbnails when opening, but not the metadata. That way I can easily see if I've already opened it but also keep the filenames intact. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome |

When you browse from the "SD card" icon, it will show the original folder structure and file names on the card with the generated thumbnails. Currently there is no way to show the original file names in the 'flat' categories.

Thanks! I used shortcuts to access the SD-Card. It never entered my mind there might be a difference in presentation of files.
